CoreLogic Dorado Corporation CEO Dain Ehring Named Nominee for Steve Fraser Award Winner for 2009

Mr. Ehring recognized by Mortgage Technology magazine as candidate for "outstanding mortgage technology innovator"

San Mateo, California—September 14, 2009—Dain Ehring, co-founder and chief executive officer of CoreLogic Dorado Corporation, has been named one of four nominees for the 2009 Steve Fraser Award winner by Mortgage Technology magazine, it was announced today.

The award is given annually to "an outstanding mortgage technology innovator, visionary, or evangelizer." In selecting Mr. Ehring, Mortgage Technology cited his dedication to promoting the automation of the highly complex mortgage lending process, and the passion he has shown for his company’s mission of bringing enterprise-strength cloud computing platforms and software as a service (SaaS) solutions to the mortgage industry.

Since its founding in 1998, CoreLogic Dorado has consistently been at forefront of technological innovation for the financial services industries. A leading provider of intelligent software-as-a-service (SaaS) systems based on an ERP-like platform-as-a-service (PaaS) architecture, the company continues to spearhead the development of secure cloud-based computing services for mission critical applications in mortgage services and other financial markets. In addition to mortgage enterprise lending solutions, the company offers a service for the networked integration and collaboration of third party electronic data, and also provides solutions relevant to overall consumer lending and other financial operations for purposes such as fraud mitigation. CoreLogic Dorado's service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology platform provides financial organizations with a robust yet agile and flexible way to manage complex electronic transactions.

Mr. Ehring had built a distinguished career in technology before founding CoreLogic Dorado. At Sun Microsystems, he was Director of Market Development and Strategic Sales for its JavaSoft internet company. Prior to joining JavaSoft, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Service at Lighthouse Design Ltd., an applications developer later acquired by Sun. Mr. Ehring has also held a variety of senior management roles at NeXT Computers, IBM, and Unisys. He holds a Master's degree in Space Physics from UCLA, and worked at NASA before moving to the private sector.

"Many entrepreneurs see business problems and inefficiency in the mortgage industry, create IT companies and have some initial success. What separates Dain is that he has continued to expand his vision, evolve his company and products, and seize upon new opportunities. Dain is also one of few IT entrepreneurs whose IT solutions successfully cross the technological chasm from Mortgage 1.0 technologies to Mortgage 2.0. No doubt he is already thinking about and planning Mortgage 3.0," commented Craig Focardi, a leading mortgage industry analyst.

"I am honored to be nominated to receive the Steve Fraser Award from Mortgage Technology magazine," said Mr. Ehring. "While my name is on the roster, it is really a testament to a lot of hard work done by the great team we have here at CoreLogic Dorado. The team at CoreLogic Dorado has accomplished much in our 11-year history, and when it comes to making the mortgage lending process faster, easier, and more efficient, we have been at the forefront of process and technology innovation. We look forward to continuing to drive the kinds of improvements that add value for lenders and their customers."
