Dorado Introduces Channelmaster 4.0 Networked Point-Of-Sale Solution

New Release Enhances Unified Point-of-Sale Capabilities with Rich Internet Application, Multi-channel Administration, and Process Orchestration

San Mateo, Calif.—Nov. 7, 2005—Dorado Corporation providing the on-demand network at the lender point of sale, today announced the release and immediate availability of ChannelMaster 4.0, a comprehensive, networked point-of-sale solution for the home lending industry. ChannelMaster 4.0 delivers enhanced Unified Point-of-Sale capabilities including a new rich Internet application (RIA) interface, centralized viewing and control of loan pipelines enterprise-wide, and a new orchestration process driven by a business rules engine. The new release takes a giant leap toward unifying all lending operations through a single point of sale.

Dorado ChannelMaster is a comprehensive, networked point-of-sale solution for home lending. The solution tightly integrates all participants in the lending process—consumers, brokers, loan officers processors, and partners—at the POS. It also provides participants with POS access to the Dorado on-demand network of lending systems, which includes: credit reporting, automated underwriting, settlement services, and up-front documents. ChannelMaster significantly increases the efficiency and productivity of all distribution channels, enhances marketing efforts, and facilitates collaboration with customers. Deployments offer less risk, lower cost, and faster time-to-market than traditional loan origination systems.

ChannelMaster 4.0 introduces three key new features: a RIA interface, centralized administration capabilities, and a business rules engine. On the desktop, ChannelMaster’s new RIA interface provides a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use front end to the lending system. While ChannelMaster is a Web-based application, it behaves in many ways like a highly sophisticated desktop application, enabling the use of common keystroke combinations and drag and drop content capabilities. Also, users never have to refresh the page, alerts and updates to information all happen dynamically within the browser.

For bank managers, ChannelMaster 4.0 provides a powerful set of administrative capabilities to control, view, and monitor activity across the enterprise. Organization, user, and workgroup set up allows ChannelMaster to support the ways lender organizations really do business. Various channels, geographical regions and branches, broker firms or other affiliated business relationships can all be represented. ChannelMaster 4.0 provides a comprehensive view of the loan pipeline, across the whole business.

ChannelMaster 4.0 adds a new business rules engine that orchestrates loan Activity Plan selection. The loan Activity Plan in ChannelMaster 4.0 provides a quick, visual summary of activities needed to process a lead or loan file. It is the starting point for each day’s activities and gives collaborating users a quick way to access the status of a loan and learn how they should proceed. Each time a broker, loan officer, or processor logs in and opens the Activity Plan screen, the system dynamically selects which Activity Plan appears, and which workgroups it is associated with, based upon rules, permissions, and loan data. From this customized view, the user will be quickly apprised of current progress against stated goals and how to proceed with the day’s activities.

ChannelMaster 4.0 is a stand-alone solution, as well as the POS component of the Dorado Enterprise Lending System. In the future, the ChannelMaster business rules engine will orchestrate all components of the Enterprise Lending System to deliver dynamic workflow for all lending processes.
