Dorado Appoints Executive Vice President of Field Operations to Spearhead Customer Initiatives
New Executive Brings Over 25 Years of Experience Leading Early Stage Companies to Rapid Growth
San Mateo, Calif.—December 1, 2003—Dorado, the leader in Web Services-based systems for home lending, today announced the appointment of Michael Humphries to the position of executive vice president, field operations. In this role, Humphries will oversee all customer-facing business units within Dorado including sales, channel sales, professional services, business development, and customer service. Humphries brings extensive experience leading early stage technology companies to rapid growth.
Mike Humphries has over 25 years of sales, marketing, customer service, and business development experience in the technology, software, and computer services industries. He has served in executive management positions and played a critical role in taking several companies to Initial Public Offering (IPO) including Oracle and Vignette. Most recently, Humphries has held executive-level and interim positions in sales and business development with a number of software companies including JavaSoft (Sun Microsystems), Worldtalk (acquired by Tumbleweed), and Neuron Data (acquired by Brokat). He holds a B.S.E.E. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
