Dain Ehring, Executive Management, CoreLogic Dorado Founder
Dain Ehring has served on CoreLogic Dorado's executive management team since the company's inception in 1998, and has led the company through a decade of exponential growth. Before founding CoreLogic Dorado, Mr. Ehring was Director of Market Development and Strategic Sales for JavaSoft, Sun Microsystems' Internet company. Prior to joining JavaSoft, he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Service at Lighthouse Design Ltd., an applications developer later acquired by Sun. Mr. Ehring has also held a variety of senior management roles at NeXT Computers, IBM, and Unisys. He holds a Master’s degree in Space Physics from UCLA and worked at NASA before moving to the private sector.

Rob Carpenter, PhD., Technology, CoreLogic Dorado Founder
Dr. Rob Carpenter has more than 25 years of experience as a systems architect, engineer, and technology executive in the high technology industry. Before founding CoreLogic Dorado, Dr. Carpenter managed the JavaSoft Systems Architecture practice at Sun Microsystems. Prior to Sun, he was a program manager and chief engineer with the Advanced Information Systems Division at Boeing / McDonnell Douglas. Dr. Carpenter holds a Ph.D. in Systems Architecture and a M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Physics and Economics from UCLA. Highly involved in the development of mortgage industry standards, Mr. Carpenter served for 3 years on the MISMO Governance Board, and has spoken on numerous occasions for the Mortgage Bankers Association and other industry organizations. He holds two patents on CoreLogic Dorado's innovative core networking technology.
Ravi Balwada, SaaS Operations
Ravi Balwada has nearly two decades of technology management experience. Prior to CoreLogic Dorado, he served as chief information officer and vice president of On Demand Operations at SumTotal Systems, where he helped set strategic direction for their managed services and SaaS related initiatives. Before SumTotal, he managed global operations for Oracle On Demand, spearheading the commercial development and transformation of their On Demand operations. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president at The Carlyle Group's technology venture capital fund, and before that, led the systems operations group at Amazon.com.
Steve Poppe, Ph.D., Professional Services
Dr. Steve Poppe has over 30 years of operations management experience. He led the data center operations group at CoreLogic Dorado for five years, overseeing the evolution from hosting to a fully-fledged managed services offering. He now leads the Customer Delivery function, which is responsible for delivery on customer agreements with a “customer for life” philosophy. Before CoreLogic Dorado, Dr. Poppe held management positions at companies including McDonnell Douglas, British Telecom, and MCI. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley.
Landon Taylor, Business Development
Landon Taylor served in senior-level roles for the First American Corporation for more than a decade. At the time of his departure in 2008, he served as president of the Strategic Markets Division for First American Title Insurance Company. Prior positions included senior vice president, market development for First American Corporation, and president and CEO of First American VMS. He was instrumental in launching The First American Homeownership Foundation and The First American New Market Venture Fund, and serves as a corporate director for New Vista Asset Management. He holds a B.S. in Management from Pepperdine University and has professional certificates from Stanford and Harvard.
Jim Jackson, Sales
Jim Jackson has over 25 years of experience in sales and professional services. He joined CoreLogic Dorado in 2001 overseeing sales and project delivery in the Professional Services division before assuming his current VP role. Before joining CoreLogic Dorado, Mr. Jackson was Sr. Director of Professional Services for Cybersource Corporation where he was responsible for sales, account management, and delivery. Prior to Cybersource, he managed sales at Sun Microsystems and Xerox Corporation. He holds a bachelors degree from UCLA.
David Parker, Client Management
Dave Parker has facilitated technology and distribution partnerships in the banking industry for more than 23 years. Prior to CoreLogic Dorado, he served as Director, Sales Platform Development at Wells Fargo and Chief Executive Officer at Praxis Technology Group. During the course of his career, Mr. Parker has developed expertise in a number of critical industry disciplines, including the development of strategic software architectures to support business strategy, the delivery of integrated software solutions across a variety of sales channels, and the building and managing of relationships with strategic partners. Before Wells Fargo, Parker served as Chief Operating Officer at MortgageHub.
