Senior Professional Services Project Manager
The Dorado Project Manager acts as the project leader for Dorado software implementations. In this role, the PM works closely with the Dorado sales and technical team to plan and develop individual project deliverables and timelines, detailing out specific critical paths. Uses automated project scheduling and tracking tools to develop and present a complete and accurate project schedule (i.e. Gantt Chart). Updates project schedules on a weekly basis and communicates changes to project team members and program office. Drives the project team to meet the project timelines as agreed upon, maintaining the critical path. Effectively negotiates issues that may arise through the project lifecycle to maintain the project integrity and schedule. Escalates issues that cannot be resolved within the project team that ultimately impact the schedule and/or project deliverables. Holds regular project team meetings to manage schedule, obtain updates, discuss issues and resolve problems with the project. Communicates major milestones, priorities, bottlenecks and other major problems which affect a successful project delivery. Develops Business Plans to support the strategic direction of the business, which include, project plans, deliverable dates, risks and mitigations, and financial analysis, which details costs, impacts and benefits.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Technical college degree and/or equivalent business experience.
- Minimum of 6-8 years experience in project management and a least 3 years experience managing external customer, billable projects for a consulting/engineering services firm
- Experience in managing projects within a Software Development lifecycle
- Ability to effectively foster a strong team environment
- Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple projects
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management - strong interpersonal skills
- Mortgage Industry knowledge is a big plus
